This forms my entry for Monday’s Bookmarked Recipes by Ruth on her exclusive blog Bookmarked Recipes.

This recipe, I made it from Lubna’s YUMMY FOOD blog. Its indeed yummy food …mouthwatering recipes she gives….full of energy and love!

What You Need?
- Tomatoes – 3
- Green Chillies – 3
- Curry Leaves – 3-5 leaves
- Turmeric – 1/4tsp
- Tamarind pulp – 1tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil
- Tadka Ingridients – mustard seeds, cumin seeds, bengal gram and black gram.
- red chilli – 1/2
- Fresh Coriander – to garnish

How to do?
- Cut the tomatoes and deseed them.
- Heat oil in a pan, add green chillies, tomatoes , turmeric and tamarind pulp .
- Cook with lid on a low heat till tomatoes get cooked .
- Keep it aside and let it cool.
- After cooling considerably, grind it to a paste roughly! [ i dont like it completely smooth]
- Take a pan and heat oil add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, bengal and black grams and red chilli.
- Let the mustard seeds pop and add curry leaves.
- Add this seasoning [tadka] to the ground tomato paste and garnish with coriander.
- Serve hot with idli/dosa/rice! YUM YUM
